Location
The surgery is located on the third floor of a grand Victorian building at 1 Harley Street. This address can easily be considered as one of the most prestigious medical addresses in the world.
This central location at the intersection between Harley Street and Wigmore Street is highly accessible by public or private transport.
The underground stations are less than 5 minutes’ walk to the practice:

Nicola graduated cum laude from the Dental School of Palermo University in Italy in 2001, following which he entered the private practice in Palermo. In 2003 he was awarded an EU scholarship and entered a clinical attachment at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of Tampere University Hospital in Finland. During this, he trained extensively in field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

After completion of his attachment, Nicola practiced in UK for several years before pursuing postgraduate training in the field of Prosthodontics, the branch of dentistry focusing on restoring or replacing damaged or missing teeth. In 2007 he was accepted into the world renowned New York University College of Dentistry, where he was trained in Prosthodontics and Dental Implantology. Nicola excelled during his training and he was then appointed as Clinical Fellow in 2008 at the NYU.

Nicola returned to UK in 2009 and subsequently joined the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute as an academician. He currently holds the position as a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow, teaching postgraduates in the Master of Science and Master of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics. He also actively participates in dental research, and has published articles in international dental journals.

He now divides his time between his private practice and teaching at the Eastman.

Wendy has been with the practice for over 30 years and knows all of the patients individually.

Her open personality and patient commitment contribute hugely to the success of the practice. She provides all our patients with the highest standards of chair side care. Being extremely good with nervous patients and children, Wendy is, without a doubt, an asset to the team.

Dr Tay received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004 from University of Malaya, Malaysia. She spent her first year of work attached to various departments including Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Paedodontics, Orthodontics and Restorative. She continued as a general dental practitioner in community dentistry for 4 years and passed the MFDS examination by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2008.

Subsequently she was awarded a scholarship to pursue a 3-year Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Periodontology at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, UK. In 2011, she completed her master’s degree with distinction and at the same time, she obtained the accreditation by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) for her training. Following that Dr Tay practices in periodontics and implant therapy and now divides her time between private practice and teaching. She holds the position of Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow in Periodontology at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute CPD.
