White Fillings
Composite fillings, or commonly known as white fillings, have been used extensively to restore decayed teeth. They are also used for cosmetic improvements by changing the colour or shape of a tooth. This material bonds to the tooth structure, thus creating a functional and aesthetic solution for the patient.
However when the defect or the cavity is large, a more advanced restorative option (onlays and crowns) may be indicated to protect the remaining tooth structure from fractures.
